Start-up Visa (D-8-4)

The D-8-4 Technology and Business Start-up visa is issued to founders of a corporation involved in a technology-based business and for those who have a bachelor's degree and intellectual property rights or equivalent skills. It can be issued for up to 12 months and extended while running your business. If you want to establish a skill-based start-up in Korea, you should apply for the Start-up Prep. Visa (D-10-2) instead. The D-8-4 visa is available to OASIS participants ONLY.

Start-up Prep. Visa (D-10-2)

The D-10-2 visa is for individuals who wish to engage in research, technology, and business start-up activities in South Korea. The D-10-2 visa period lasts between 6 months and 2 years. It can be issued every 6 months and extended up to 3 times. If you want to establish a skill-based start-up in Korea, you can apply for this visa by taking OASIS classes. The D-10-2 visa is available to OASIS participants ONLY.
