OASIS-1

✏️ Basic Intellectual Property Course (10 points)

Basic course required to acquire (apply for) intellectual property rights and to stay in Korea.

Total of 12+ hours, All courses are provided in an appropriate language for participants and a minimum attendance rate of 80% is required for completion.

  • 1.0 hr. Understanding Korean society
  • 2.0 hrs. Understanding immigration control law and OASIS
  • 3.0 hrs. Introduction to intellectual property systems
  • 2.0 hrs. Finding invention ideas
  • 2.0 hrs. Sharing the ideas and presentation
  • 1.0 hr. Upgrade the ideas

OASIS-2

📖 Advanced Intellectual Property Course (10 Points)

Advanced course necessary to acquire (apply for) intellectual property rights and to stay in Korea.

Total of 20+ hours, All courses are provided in an appropriate language for participants and a minimum attendance rate of 80% is required for course completion.

  • 2.0 hrs. Advanced understanding of intellectual property rights
  • 2.0 hrs. OA, patent litigation system, etc.
  • 2.0 hrs. Finding invention ideas (advanced course)
  • 2.0 hrs. Prior art search and practice for patent information
  • 2.0 hrs. Understanding the drawing and practice
  • 2.0 hrs. Understanding and writing of invention declaration
  • 2.0 hrs. Mock trial (Case 1)
  • 2.0 hrs. Mock trial (Case 2)
  • 2.0 hrs. Understanding copyrights
  • 2.0 hrs. Case study for start-up using intellectual property

OASIS-3

💼 Intellectual Property Application Support and Prototype Production Support

Provide support in the intellectual property application process for outstanding and creative items (ideas). Provide expenses for acquiring the rights of the ideas {application fee (written opinion can be supported), agent commission} within the given range, one time per person, and only for patents, utility models, and designs (trademark is excluded). Select technologies (ideas) that are registered (application submitted) with high commercialization possibility based on public contests and support for commercialization and model production; one time per person

✏️ Basic Start-up Class (10 points)

Basic start-up course for foreigners equipped with basic technologies for a business start-up

A total of 20 hours, All courses are provided in an appropriate language for participants and a minimum attendance rate of 80% is required for course completion.

  • 0.5 hrs. Orientation and course introduction
  • 2.0 hrs. Understanding of immigration laws and regulations
  • 2.0 hrs. Advanced understanding of Korean society
  • 2.0 hrs. Understanding of business management and tax system
  • 2.0 hrs. Practice of real estate
  • 2.0 hrs. Understanding and practice of target marketing
  • 2.0 hrs. Theory and practice of business plan writing method
  • 2.0 hrs. Understanding of related policies including small business start-up support, etc.
  • 2.0 hrs. Understanding of start-up and business management with related laws and regulations
  • 2.0 hrs. Practice of presentation before investors and shareholders
  • 2.0 hrs. Advanced understanding of Korean society
  • 2.0 hrs. Survey and closing ceremony

OASIS-5

👩‍💻 Start-up Coaching and Mentoring (15 Points)

Provide a professional coaching and mentoring service on the issues necessary for a business start-up including selecting a location, market research, and customer analysis. Minimize start-up failure rate early on through one-on-one coaching from a start-up immigration mentor or experts, and participate in experience sharing and a site visit. A minimum of 6 hours (3 sessions) of exclusive coaching and mentoring is awarded with points.

💡 Invention, Start-up Exhibition (30 Points)

Find opportunities to identify foreigners’ creative intellectual property ideas and start-up items, open sales channels, and connect investors, etc. Find opportunities to identify outstanding and inventive start-up items of potential immigrant entrepreneurs, etc., and to promote technology transaction and investment counseling among participants. Provide opportunities for participants to take part in inventions and start-up items of potential immigrant entrepreneurs, etc., and to promote technology transaction and investment counseling among participants.

OASIS-7

🎓 Graduation from Start-up Incubation (15 Points)

Provide a stable start-up environment by giving a space to individuals who are prepared for a business start-up. Provide a space for initial start-up to individuals who have completed support programs for intellectual property rights and to start-ups with outstanding performance or those that have received awards at invention/start-up exhibitions. Graduation is recognized only after 6 months have passed since the start-up moved into the start-up incubation phase.

🏢 Support for Corporation Establishment (15 Points)

Support the establishment of corporation, which is imperative to obtaining a start-up visa (D-8-4) for successful start-up immigration. Support preparation procedure and administrative affairs for corporation establishment to help foreigners obtain a start-up visa (D-8-4). Comprehensive assistance in administration and corporate registration required to establish corporation

OASIS-9

📊 Support Start-up Items Related to Commercialization (30 Points)

Promote successful start-up immigration with policy support for start-ups at early stages. Provide initial commercialization expenses as well as support R&D and post-management.
